I am back from all my travels and well settled in my new apartment in St Georges de Didonne, Charrent Marentime, and loving it. Spring is in the air and I have just had my first visit from family. Jon and Nicki were here for a few days. So it is time to kick start the blog again.
The visit included great lunches out, walks on the beaches of St George and Royan and at the Port of Meschers. Not forgetting the obligatory trip to Ile D’Oleron for fresh Oysters.
Friends to visit were Peter in December and Patricia in February . New good places to eat and to buy oysters were discovered!
At Chateau D’Oleron with Peter, bright, sunny and chilly!
Not to mention the medieval communal loos at Chateau D’Oleron that I had missed last visit!
